Dayton Town Council

We invite you to attend the Council meetings held in the Council Chambers, 125 Eastview Street, Dayton, the second Monday of each month at 7:00 P.M.

Elections for Council Members are held every two years. Term of office for the Mayor is two years, and four years for Council Members. 

Planning Commission Members are appointed by the Council and serve a 4 year term.  Planning Commission meetings are held in the Council Chambers every third Thursday of the month at 7:00 P.M.

Members of the Board of Zoning Appeals are recommended by the Council and appointed by the Circuit Court of Rockingham County and serve a 4 year term.
