Community Input Survey

On behalf of the Dayton Planning Commission, the Town is conducting a community input survey to help with the required 2022 update of the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Dayton and to help guide future policy and decision making in the Town.  The plan contains goals related to land use, the environment, the economy, transportation, and many other elements that make Dayton our Small Town, Hometown, Downtown. 

This is YOUR chance to provide input for the Comprehensive Plan Update.  We welcome all residents, business owners, employees in town and just those interested in our beautiful historic town to participate in this survey, which will take about 15 minutes to complete.  The survey may be taken online here.  Paper copies may be picked up at the Town Hall during regular business hours or you may contact the Town Hall and request that one be mailed to you.

The Planning Commission will use this information to evaluate the effectiveness of the Town and gather recommendations for improvements in the upcoming years. If you have any questions or would like to offer additional information, please don’t hesitate to contact the Town office at 540-879-2241.
