Administration

The Town of Dayton operates under the council-manager form of government. This system combines the political strength of an elected Town Council with the expertise of a professional manager and staff. The Town Manager is appointed by the Town Council to administer the policies they adopt and manage the daily operations of the Town. The Town Manager oversees all departments within the Town.  

In addition to the Town Manager, the administrative office employs a part-time Administrative Assistant.
