The Town Council for the Town of Dayton, Virginia will hold a Special Meeting on Wednesday, 1/4/2023 at 5:.30 PM for the purposes of discussion, consideration, and interviewing of a prospective candidate or candidates for appointment to the vacant position of Town Council. A portion of this special meeting will be held in closed session as authorized by Virginia Code Section 2.2-3711(A)(1). No action or appointment will happen at this meeting and no public comments will be heard. This matter will be included as an action item on the January 9, 2023 regular Town Council Meeting. Therefore, this meeting will not be open to the public or live-streamed.
